The Golden Spiral

This is an example of a golden spiral in photography. It’s based on a golden ratio that is meant to visually represent the part that our eyes are first drawn to. It was originally discovered by Pythagoras who was a philosopher and mathematician. By applying the golden spiral to pictures to our magazine images then it may make our magazines look more pleasing and draw the readers in.
